Concept edit
A practice redesign built to test layout, copy, motion and conversion flow.
Every vehicle deserves the precision and care found in the world's finest automotive collections. We opened in 2009 with one bay and a rotary polisher; 5,200 vehicles later that has not changed, and neither has the rule the studio was built on.
Correction is not reversible. Every pass with a machine takes material off a layer measured in microns and cannot be put back. A technician moving between four cars at once is making that decision under time pressure, and it shows up two years later when the paint has nothing left to give.
So we gauge first and work to the readings. If a panel has already been refinished and is sitting thin, we say so and leave it alone. Occasionally that means telling someone their car does not need what they came in asking for.
The same logic applies to the wash bay. A car we corrected and coated will hold that finish for years if it is washed properly, and lose it in one season if it is not. That is why the maintenance program exists, and why a good share of the cars in the studio this week have been here before.
Film is plotter-cut for accuracy, then relieved and wrapped by hand so no edge sits on a visible line. Coatings are levelled panel by panel. Leather is worked at low moisture and re-pigmented rather than dressed. None of it is quick, and none of it can be handed to a machine.
To protect, restore and enhance every vehicle through uncompromising attention to detail.
Measured before it is touched. Corrected only as far as the paint safely allows. Signed off by someone who did not do the work.
Six of us, and the same one owns your car from arrival to handover. You will know which before you hand over the keys.
Founder and Master Detailer
Opened the first bay in 2009 with a rotary polisher and a paint gauge, and still takes the assessment on every exotic that comes through. Wrote the depth-reading protocol the studio works to.
With the studio since 2009
Lead Paint Correction Specialist
Fifteen years on colour-sanding and refinishing, six of them in a manufacturer body shop. Handles anything single-stage, anything previously refinished, and anything black.
With the studio since 2014
Ceramic Coating Technician
Manufacturer accredited across three coating systems. Runs the dust-controlled bay and signs off every cure before a car is allowed to move.
With the studio since 2017
Interior Restoration Specialist
Trained in automotive upholstery before detailing. Re-pigments worn leather rather than dressing it, and re-naps alcantara by hand because no machine does it properly.
With the studio since 2018
Paint Protection Film Installer
Cuts and wraps every film edge in the studio. Will spend an extra hour relieving a bonnet shut so there is no visible line, which is the only reason the edges disappear.
With the studio since 2020
Client Manager
Runs the diary, the collection schedule and the condition records. The person who calls you when a panel reads thin and the plan needs to change.
With the studio since 2016
The next step is forty minutes with your car and a depth gauge. No charge for it, and nothing committed until you have seen the readings.
