How long does a detail take?

A Signature Exterior Detail is one day. Correction and coating is two to three days. Multi-stage work on an exotic runs five to ten, and paint protection film adds one to three weeks depending on coverage. Every car is assigned to one technician for the whole booking, so it is never sitting waiting for someone to become free.

Do you work on exotic cars?

Regularly, and they are the reason the studio is set up the way it is. Ceramic-coated carbon, single-stage paint on older cars and thin factory finishes on limited-run models all behave differently under a machine, which is why nothing starts without depth readings. We carry three million dollars of cover per vehicle and can send the certificate before you book.

What products do you use?

Professional-only coatings rated to five or nine years, films carrying a ten year warranty, and pH-neutral chemistry chosen per material rather than one cleaner used everywhere. We will tell you exactly what went on your car and what it needs to stay that way. None of it is sold in a supermarket, and we do not take payment to favour a brand.

How long does ceramic coating last?

Five or nine years depending on the product, and only if the car is washed properly. A coating is a hard layer, not an indestructible one, and automatic washes degrade it quickly. An annual inspection is included for the life of the term so we can catch it before performance drops off.

Do you offer pickup and delivery?

Across Charlotte, SouthPark, Myers Park, Ballantyne, Davidson and Lake Norman, at no charge. Beyond that we arrange enclosed transport at cost. Cars are stored inside, alarmed, behind a secured roller door, with the bay under camera around the clock.

Can I maintain my coating myself?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and we would rather you did it well than not at all. Two buckets with grit guards, a pH-neutral shampoo, a clean microfibre per panel and no automatic washes will keep a coating performing for its full term. We send a written aftercare sheet home with the car, and the maintenance program exists for owners who would rather it was handled.

How do I prepare my vehicle?

Take personal belongings out of the cabin and boot, and tell us about anything we should not touch: aftermarket wraps, recent paintwork, a loose trim clip, a camera with a delicate lens. Do not wash it first. Arriving dirty costs nothing, and a fresh wash sometimes hides the defects we need to see at the assessment.

What areas do you service?

The studio is in Charlotte and most clients are within thirty minutes of it. Free collection covers Charlotte, SouthPark, Myers Park, Ballantyne, Davidson and Lake Norman. We regularly take cars from Raleigh, Greenville and Atlanta on enclosed transport, arranged at cost.
